Pastor of Counseling Ministries

  • In the past, responsible for the development and oversight of several support groups for adult children of dysfunctional families (New Hope), couples recovering from infidelity (New Foundations), and sobriety/abstinence issues.
  • Currently oversees training and supervision of the extensive lay counseling program of the church.
  • Serves as a consultant to various support groups of the church and gives pastoral oversight to COMI (Caregivers of the Mentally Ill) and Family to Family (the NAMI family training program).
  • For 10 years, supervised a leadership group that developed The Gift Shop; a spiritual gift-based, computer-matched, volunteer ministry placement service.
  • Oversees all the Marriage Ministries and teaches in the pre-parenting, divorce recovery, premarital remarriage, premarital and couple enrichment programs of the church.
  • Administers the digital fingerprint program required of all adults who work with minor children (approximately 3,000 adults to date)
